best hotel for 95US a night

Am after the best hotel for about 95US a night.

Am travelling to waikiki in aug with my wife for a wedding. Staying 4 nights.

My family is staying at the Waikiki banyan, aqua bamboo, and pacific monarch, so would like soemthing relatively cose to these hotels if possible.

I need somewhere that is relatively cheap but also good value for money.

Aqua Beachside hotel has a great rate of 72US a night for a standard room in booked 60 days in advanced, there rooms seem very small and have no coffee makers in the room, but the location is second to none.

Also looked at Aqua Bamboo, Parkshore, Ocean Resort.

your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Look at Royal Grove Hotel right across the street from Pacific monarch and a couple blocks from the Banyan. Older hotel but very economical and clean and category 1 rooms have a kitchen and definitely a coffee maker for abot 70.00 a night.I have stayed there twice enjoyed both stays.

The Royal Grove is your best bet in that price range. It%26#39;s very popular so book early if you are interested.

Personally I love The Hawaiian Hotel but it%26#39;s more like $125USD these days.

Queen Kapiolani often has internet specials that are in that price range.

how would the aqua beachside hotel compare to the royal grove?

In looking at their site the $72 a night room doesn%26#39;t have a kitchen but does have a frig it also doesn%26#39;t have a window but it is across the street from the beach. The partial oceanview ( I assume this means it at least has a window) is $95 a night.

The Grove has a kitchen with 4-burner stove and oven plus fullsize frig and a lanai however you are stuck with having to either cook your own breakfast or go down to Me%26#39;s Korean BBQ for a $4 breakfast.

beachside is pretty good if you get an oceanfront room, the location is very good and the view is great, but the non view rooms look into a wall, also the rooms are very small and at last check it was in desperate need of a makeover.

also heard the waikiki prince was a good place for under $100

Ocean Resort is really a pretty good place if the price is low, 1/2 block off the beach, nice looking hotel

You really do not need to spend a lot of money on a room in waikiki to have a fabulous trip.

Correction I was thinking of the waikiki resort hotel not the ocean resort, not familiar with that one

yes, that Aqua Beachside is a nice location if you get the right room.

I noticed they were doing some renovations last summer (2008) but it seems they were just sprucing up the exterior from reading recent reviews.

Management says they%26#39;ve redone bathroom tile and are working on new vanities.

thanks for the replies.

Annyone have any opinions of the Aqua Bamboo, or Castel Ocean Resort or Parkshore?

Not to long ago, there was an Orbitz code that provided a further 20% discount on their rates. Why not search/wait to see if another code pops up as that will bring quite a few properties into your price range. You could also consider using Priceline as most 3 stars on there would go within your price range.

cant say i have ever heard or orbitz or priceline. Are you able to give me some more information on them.

Thanks
