County of Maui message that Kahekili Hwy at mile marker 15 Waihale or Hoopii Gulch is closed from 8 til 2 today.
This is the Highway (no way it%26#39;s a highway) that goes past Honolua Bay along the cliffs and ends up in Happy Valled/Wailuku.
So you can not drive around the island on the single lane cliffside road that goes from West Maui to Waihee.
Not sure how far you can drive on the road because I can not see where mile marker 15 is.
Hopefully someone else will post a verbal description or call the County of Maui for a more detail 270-7711
