My girlfriend and I are visiting Oahu waikiki area may 25 late monday through saturday morning. We love to surf and want to see as many beautiful beaches and oahus pretty scenery as possible. There is so much to do we dont even know where to start. We plan on renting a car for at least part of our stay. Please suggest some must sees or must dos for us! Also where are some tourist freindly spots to rent boards on the beach outside of waikiki?

What we ended up doing the first visit was go down our list of things we thought we really wanted to do like hike Diamond Head, visit the Arizona Memorial go to Northshore etc.
Our list started out quite long and there are still somethings we%26#39;ll '; have to go back for '; but we decided after finally getting there if it meant taking a little more time some place we were going to enjoy the things we did do.
Dusty has links to a couple of good drive yourself tours and for beaches start at Waikiki and go past Diamond Head to Makapuu and work your way around.
