Embassy Suites, Honolulu

Just booked ES for Nov. Got it for $177/pn. Goverment Employee, it looks like a good deal, has anyone that has stayed there recently care to comment or give me some info. We are seniors but have traveled all over. Went to Maui Sheraton last year and really enjoyed it. Embassy Suites sounds like its much nicer with more amnities. Would like any comments. Thanks Buck

Great breakfast, as with all Embassy Suites. Free drinks between 5-7pm (or something like that) is a great place to get a few freebies before heading out for the night but don%26#39;t count on getting much food. More like chips and dips but the drinks make up for it.

We stayed at ES last Oct/Nov %26amp; loved it ! The rooms are lovely and new, comfy beds %26amp; clean bathrooms. The pool is decent size %26amp; has plenty of lounge chairs around. Enjoyed the breakfast each day %26amp; the Manager%26#39;s Reception (evening drinks %26amp; nibbles).

We are also fans of Sheraton Maui, however it is a different experience...Maui to me is relaxing %26amp; doing nothing...ES is in the heart of Waikiki, lots of shops %26amp; restaurants close by. The construction going on at Trump Tower did not bother us, however I am sure by the time you go there should be little (if none) going on in November.

Enjoy :-)

I would add to the other posts - that it is an excellent location.

Stayed there this March with our 4 kids and absolutely loved it. Everyone so friendly and helpful - you really felt like a valued guest. Rooms always spotlessly clean. I would go back and stay there in a heartbeat!
