Shopping in Oahu/Wakikki - Factory outlet style

Hi all,

Where is the best place to shop in Oahu? Ideally we%26#39;re looking for Factory outlets such as Premium Outlets.........coming from London UK, we love to shop in these sort of shops as it is much better variety and priced.

Any help would be appreciated, thank-you!

Waikele outlets near Pearl Harbor I think, never been there.

Ross Dress For Less is a good place to look for deals The Aussies on here love it. We have them here where I live and you can get some good deals. There is a huge one near Walmart on Keeaumoku st.

Ala Moana Center is a huge mall very near Waikiki but imo has way too many high end stores such as Gucci,Chanel etc. The japanese visitors love these kind of stores and you will find those same stores on Kalakaua in Waikiki overkill imo.

I like to look in the smaller local shops myself but to each his own.

Waikele outlets for sure.We go to hawaii every year and always goto the outlets. My wife also goes to the rack which is a clearance store of Nordstroms.Prices and quality of goods are worth going at least twice a year.Keep in mind the best deals we found were just after xmas and Jan when they were clearing out stock. We also like the strip where you pay more but help to keep the economy going.Have fun.

Just my 2 cents, but it would be my opinion you get better deals at the malls with the specials they are always running than you do at the factory outlets. We must have 5 within a 100 miles where I live but the only ones that go are the tourists. You will find great prices and selection at places like Macys, H and M, Forever 21. As someone said the really best prices are at the places like Marshalls and Nordstroms Rack.

Aloha Ricky,

As what people mentioned, Waikele Premium Outlet for sure. The only thing I find is that some sections of the outlets are spaced apart. There%26#39;s also a couple of shopping centers around that area as well, but, I do like Pearlridge in Pearl City. Good luck and happy shopping.

As UNCMOM2011 mentioned, I love Ross Dress For Less, there is one in Honolulu opposite Walmart on Keeaumoku St. You can get some excellent bargins here (eg. Levi%26#39;s $8.99, Jessica Simpson jeans $8.99, evening dresses $25 etc etc). Everything is on long racks in various sizes so you sometimes have to search.

Enjoy !

Rick - if you want to go to the Outlet Stores, go on-line first. Often, if you register, they will allow you to print a sheet of extra discounts.

I love the Ala Moana Shopping Center. And if you go to Macy%26#39;s ask at the Customer Service area about discounts to shoppers from other countries.

Hawaii50. I could have kicked myself after reading your post. I was planning on going to that location but went to Wal-Mart instead. I agree with you, you have to be patient when looking through the racks. Wow, sounds like I really missed out some great deals.

Hi Travellingdixie,

Yes, they do have some awesome specials at times when the racks are newly stocked. I have picked up quite a few good things at Ross and usually now have a good look in here first before I go to other places...although I absolutely love Walmart too !!
