Recommendations for top Chinese restaurants in Waikiki

Does anyone know where I could get my fix of Chinese food whilst on my honeymoon!?! And could you let me know how it compares price wise please.

Ideally, i%26#39;d love it to come with a beach view...but I know I can%26#39;t have everything!

Many thanks.

Recommendations for top Chinese restaurants in Waikiki

I don%26#39;t know of any chinese restaurants with a view although there is one in the HHV but it%26#39;s expensive.

In Waikiki try Fatty%26#39;s Chinese Kitchen in a little alley way by the International Marketplace not much to look at but gets good reviews on Yelp.

Also you can go to chinatown which has a plethora of asian food restaurants.

If you like japanese ramen try Ezogiku we like the one on Koa ave behind the Hyatt but there are a couple more in Waikiki.I always get the miso ramen and gyoza.

If you want to look at reviews for area restaurants look on Yelp lots of locals review on here.

Stu..Chinese food is not all that good, common or popular here....

Honolulu will be the only place really you will find it... and it will not be great.

Very little if any on the other Islands. and nothing really great.over and above the little $9.95 buffets... or take out hole in the wall.....greasy chop-stix places. They wont be anywhere near a beach...more like in a shopping mall.. This is not Hong Kong. Id forget totaly eating Chinese.....stick to London it will be better.

THe Chinese restauraunt in the Hilton closed several years ago...

What you will find is top Japanese, Thai, Korean , Pacific Rim, Fusion places Sushi is very popular

No Chinese restaurants with a view, sorry.

A really excellent Chinese restaurant is ';Little Village'; on 1113 Smith St in Chinatown...phone #(808)545-3008.

A favorite one for local Chinese residents is Golden Palace on 111 N. King St. Ask for the special menu. Dinner for 4 is about $40USD tax included.

Other neighborhood ones I like:

Duk Kee on 12th Ave (Kaimuki area)

Happy Day on Waialae Ave (Kaimuki area)

Dew Drop Inn 1088 S. Beretania St (nr Pensacola St)

Kirin 2518 S. Beretania St.(Moiliili area)

Legend Seafood 100 N. Beretania St.(Chinatown)

Hee Hing 449 Kapahulu Ave. (nr east side Waikiki)

Asia Manoa in Manoa Valley.

If you know your Chinese food and know how and what to order you should have a very good meal.

Try some other ethnic foods while your here.

Thai..Champa Thai on Waialae Ave

Indian..Cafe Taj Mahal 3036 Waialae Ave

Vietnamese..Bac Nam 1117 S. King St.

Japanese...Ichiriki 510 Piikoi St.

Wild Ginger..asian mix ..Waialae Ave, across the street from Champa Thai.

Buffet 100 in Ward Center has somewhat of a view.

Fatty%26#39;s is popular with locals.

Golden Palace has good food. Nice restaurant in Chinatown.

Holiday Inn has a Chinese buffet. Food is OK at best, but inexpensive.

Chan%26#39;s Gourmet Buffet near the airport has decent food.

Get some Chinese takeout somewhere %26amp; go to the beach. Can%26#39;t beat the view.

You can sort by area or cuisine.

All the good Chinese restaurants are in Chinatown.

We found PF Changs along Beach Walk nice, at the end of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Centre.

PF Changs might be your best bet. It%26#39;s a chain on the mainland and is VERY popular among non-Chinese people.

P.F. Chang is not chinese food. Like a food critic says, ';it is like a Farrell%26#39;s for grown-ups';, with crowd pleasing Chinese food that has some novel presentation and twists.

In Waikiki, here are some places from medium to high.

BEIJING CHINESE SEAFOOD (Royal Hawaiia Center - 808-971-8833) - most japanese tourist and international business travelers, but, good Szechuan style choices to choose from - perfect little place with lots of sea essence.

CHINA GARDEN (Waikiki Wave Hotel, 2299 Kuhio Ave., 808-9923-8383) - clean, decent restaurant with a full menu and bar. Offers complete dinner specials for 2 and more people.

HEE HING (449 Kapahulu Ave - 808-735-5544) local favorite for dim sum lunch, take out and a place for big family gatherings. Service is good, atmosphere is busy with lots of attention. Duck Soap with five spice and lobster are a few of the dinner house specialties.

FOOK YUEN SEAFOOD (McCully Shopping Center - 808-973-0168) Lots of seafood with Lobster specials under $10. Lobster with blackbean; lobster salt and pepper, Dungeness with garlic/ginger; Fried rice with scallops and egg white only are a few of many specials. Open until 4 am for the night club crowd.

PANDA CUISINE (641 Keeaumoku St. 808-947-1688) Popular restaurant with locals and visitors. Full scale menu is offered.

Just a few chinese restaurant in and around Waikiki. Enjoy!

Beijing Chinese Seafood Restaurant is about as good as it gets in Waikiki.

Hee Hing, Legend Seafood, Little Village %26amp; Fook Yuen are all very good as well.

Mei Sum has good dim sum in Chinatown.

The Chinese food in Hawaii tends have been localized and you get more authentic Chinese food in Vancouver and Los Angeles where they have more recent immigrants.
