My husband and I will be in Maui for 9 days, splitting up our trip---half of our stay is in the South, half up in West Maui. We are looking for recommendations for good happy hours for our nights without dinner reservations.

Good Happy Hours on Maui?The Tropica Bar on Kaanapali Beach has a good happy hour...3:00-5:00 [if I remember right] good drinks, really good bar menu[ the goat cheese flat bread is my favorite] and the best bartenders...Tommy, Brett,Freddy and Kevin....if you go, tell them I said Hi!
Good Happy Hours on Maui?Aloha Mixed Plate in Lahaina had a happy hour from I think 2pm - 6pm, but you%26#39;d have to double check on times. The Mai Tais were $3.00 and can%26#39;t remember the price on beers, but they were cheap. Also, loved their food. It was our first stop when arriving on Maui after staying on Oahu for 5 nights.
South Maui has more happy hours than I can count - but I will start trying.
Stella Blues (also early bird dinner prices). Cafe O%26#39;Lei, Moose Magilicuddis, Fred%26#39;s (I%26#39;m not a fan of the food though). On Kihei Road there is Foodland Shopping center, directly south across the street are some really kickin little places tucked in. We love Dog %26amp; Duck, others prefer the bbq place.
Wailea, Mulligans - especially on Sunday night.
On the West side most, if not all, of the resorts offer Happy Hour specials. We like the Lagoon Bar at the Sheraton, then we stick around for the torchlighting at sunset. Lovely!
Although I have not personally been here, I found a menu online for Five Palms restaurant%26#39;s happy hour. From 2-6pm and 9-11pm, well drinks and mai tai%26#39;s are $4, and from 3-6pm %26amp; 9-11pm, all their pupu%26#39;s are 1/2 price. The setting looks beautiful and we plan to visit on our next visit in September. For more info, google Five Palms restaurant Maui and look at their happy hour menu.
Five Palms is a great suggestion, in a really good spot, open and on the north end of Keewakapu Beach which is gorgeous.
Merriman%26#39;s in Kapalua is 3-5, great view of Kapalua Bay.
