staying at the Ritz at Kapalua.. any advice?

Hey there! My husband and I are staying at the Ritz for 8 nights starting this Friday night... We have done ZERO research because this is a last minute switch from Mexico... Any ideas/thoughts for us? We were going to do the whole lay around the beach thing (still excited to do that.. need relaxation).

Hope you have your rental car booked...they have been in short supply! You are at a spectacular resort in a spectacular area. Kapalua Adventure center offers lots of activities www.kapaluaadventures.com Do take a day trip into Lahaina and swing into Whaler%26#39;s Village.

You have chosen a BEAUTIFUL place to stay....I think you will appreciate the organic, understated elegance of the newly remodeled RC. What a great place to '; get away from it all'; and relax. Kapalua is a 23,000 acre natural paradise. We often stay in Kapalua and I am always awed each morning when I look out over the green mist covered mountains and the emerald green golf courses and the turquoise water. The RC is set on a knoll overlooking all of these views. IF you tire of relaxing around the beautiful pools the DT Fleming Beach is a 5 minute walk or short golf cart ride away. Your complimentary shuttle will also take you to any of the beaches in the Kapalua area and pick you up...Napili %26amp; Kapalua beach...great for swimming %26amp; snorkeling or my favorite, very private beach, Oneloa with huge turquoise waves and sparkling white sand. If you want more adventure visit the Adventure Concierge at the Adventure Center next door and they will give you passes and maps of the Kapalua hiking trails or set you up for ziplines or any other island adventure you might enjoy.

There are several restaurants in Kapalua that you might enjoy and again your shuttle will deliver you and pick you up. Merriman%26#39;s on Kapalua Bay, Plantation House, Pineapple Grill, Sansei Sushi next door to the RC and Sea House in the Napili Kai Resort in addition to the wonderful restaurants at the RC. axfull you can also walk down to the Gazebo in Napili for breakfast...or drive if the spirit moves you! FYI my crew LOVES the Kapalua Zip-lines...no first hand report from me, I%26#39;m afraid of heights! HA

I do get a little emotional when I think of Maui....hey because of you I am going to check out the Westin Villas next time on Maui!
