I am planning a trip with my 4yr old %26amp; 1 yr old what island i the best
what islands the best with kids
What is your budget? What do you like to do or is it just for the beach? Do you want 5 star restaurants and accommodations? Do you know what a long trip it%26#39;s going to be with a 1 year old?
what islands the best with kids
Our budget is not an issue. We do not need 5 star restaurants but do like 4-5 star hotels. We are flying from California with the children. We love the beach so the beach is our main focus. Thanks for replying.
Maui and only Maui.. Maui has direct flights from LA and SF
. for the class of hotel you want
: Four Seasons; Ritz Carlton, Grand Waliea....there are only a handful of '; what you call 5 star hotels.';
You need to budget $700 TO 900 A DAY for only the room
5 star restauraunts? I thought 3 was the max?
The Ritz has a wolfgang Puck Spago... and these hotels have top $$$$$ places to dine.
I agree with Maui...look at Wailia or Kaanapali areas.
A Four and a One will be happy on almost any beach, playing in the sand and wading in the surf. I%26#39;d prefer a beachfront condo to a hotel so you%26#39;d all have more *space*, a kitchen (no actual cooking required), a washer and dryer, a private lanai to relax on while baby naps or kids are in bed early.
Look at Wailea Beach Villas on Maui -- also Polo Beach Club, Makena Surf, Wailea Ekahi and Elua. Your Four would enjoy the Oceanarium on Maui.
More to see %26amp; do on Oahu than any other island.
Lots of info:

Thanks
I am looking in to the condo or villa rentals
Oahu or Maui would be simpler traveling with two small children, as stated with direct flights a lot less hassle.
For a start, take a look at the lefthand column and find the Before You Go for each of the islands. There is a nice overview at this link, with a quiz at the bottom that is fun %26amp; may help. tripadvisor.com/Travel-g28932-c81248/Hawaii:鈥?/a>
The islands each have their own %26#39;flavor%26#39;.
Do you want a quieter area or to be in the hub of activity? What time of year do you plan to travel?
On Maui the Wailea area is upscale and lovely, condos plentiful as well as the previously stated hotel choices. A fun way to view the various properties is to visit wizardpub.com and take a look at the aerial views (condos and hotels), then check back on TA for reveiws and photos from visitors who take great photos that often are far better than the ones used for advertising purposes.
