Wings over Kauai

Bravo Bravo!!!! We took the 11:00 am flight and it was spectacular. We could see all the way to Oahu I belive some 70 miles away. Bruce the pilot ,Ellen and son Carter are as personable as everyone said. Just love them. Having done sev helicopter flights We found this more budget friendly and just the best!! Thanks for the update on Wings over Kauai. We would love to do this tour (we own a Cessna 210), but since Bruce only has a 172, he can only take 3 passengers. There are 4 of us. Not sure what we will do just yet. I personally don%26#39;t do well in helicopters. Maybe I%26#39;ll just send daddy and the kids.

We%26#39;ve been considering taking a helicopter tour this year, but we might save some $$ and take this tour instead.

very smooth ride//no worries or nerves involved whatsoever. No surprises except for the faboulous beauty.

My kids are used to flying in a small airplane. This may be a great alternative for them to see the island from the air and cheaper, too.

So glad you enjpyed it. We flew with Bruce last Sept for an anniversary present for DH.

You can still take a great cirlce island flight, fixed wing, with AIR VENTURES...

Owner is a North West Airline Pilot, wife, Donna, is a bundle of aloha, pilots are superb.

Aircraft is a G-8 airvan, built in australia for the tour biz down under.

All window seats, lots of room, and not as sensitive to wieght and balance, and can take 6 passengers in the cabin.

An isle sperates the seats, window are enlarged, and I had a great time.

I think it is about $ 140.00 each, but search them out on the web, and see what you think.

I have a fairly long flying background, as a CFI, charter and coporate pilot and the last 17 years before moving over to kauai, as an instructor pilot with Air Combat USA.

Both Wings Over Kauai, and AirVentures are outstanding companies. Excellent in all categories.

After doing a couple of heli trips, and lots of boat trip we made the decision to explore Kauai on our own 2 legs. But this sounds like something we would really love.
