I%26#39;ve been researching on the forums getting ready for our trip to Hawaii in February 2009. One thing that I%26#39;ve seen mentioned is if you do the Manta Ray night dive/snorkel it%26#39;s a good idea to take something like Bomine to prevent sea sickness. My question is this: is that recommendation because you are snorkeling at night or is it a good idea to take Bomine any time you snorkel? Thanks for the information!
Snorkeling seasickness
Getting sea sick is 80% in the brain....if you feel you need drugs to swim...thats a danger sign....a serious danger sign.
These drugs will cloud your senses and should not be take by divers or snorkelrs at any time.
Very bad to depend on drugs to snorkel anytime.....
If you have considered it ,you have already psyched yourself out...... skip it in total..
You need to be an experienced swimmer and snorkler and diver to even attempt it. The tours will take anyone with cash....its a business.
You are a rational, I hope, adult.
Drugs of any kind dont mix with the ocean.....
