My fiancee and I will be in Kauai in July for 10 days. We booked the Islander on the Beach Oceanfront room. Apparently we could get a free upgrade as we are on our honeymoon.
Does anyone know if they have suites?
Can%26#39;t wait for our trip!!!!!

Just remember, at most places an upgrade is only possible if they have the upgraded room to give out. You are arriving during high season. Even if you have an oceanfront room it will be lovely. Islander%26#39;s beach is unswimmable. This is an older complex that was recently redone into condo/hotel rooms. It is located behind the Coconut Marketplace Shopping Center. Be VERY careful when you exit this area onto the highway. It is the busiest and most congested area of the island IMO.
Hukilau Lanai, one of my favorite restaurants, is located in the hotel next door. Do try it.
