How is the beach at Hanalei Bay resort? Is it safe for swimming/snorkeling? is it a beach or Bay? Is the resort close to the beach/bay? How about the weather in June/July. Are there clam beaches/bays close by?
We have only stayed on the south side and would love a change. Also, if anyone could recommend some other places to stay that would be great.

Beach at HBR? Well its pretty good. We share it with The St Regis. You can%26#39;t use their chairs but it%26#39;s got good shady areas which I appreciate. St Regis is due to reopen in July. It is pretty good for snorkeling but there are much better places within a few minutes. It is a beach and to the right of Hanalei Bay. Weather is great in June and July. July you get some morning sprinkles and maybe a late night shower. All the calmest beaches are on the NS during the summer.
The pool at HBR is beautiful. A long lagoon style pool with cascading waterfalls. There%26#39;s a ';cave'; to rent beach gear if your condo doesn%26#39;t have it.

If you%26#39;re coming in the summer. I%26#39;d definitely recommend giving the north shore a try. We always stay there when we go, usually in late May/early June. There are a number of condos in Princeville that might meet your needs. As jebett said, let us know some more about what you%26#39;re looking for and we can give you some more specific recommendations.
