Has anyone had any experiences with snuba diving in Hawaii? We%26#39;re going to be on Oahu and the Big Island. Is it worth it to try snuba diving as opposed to just snorkeling?

We just got back from Cozumel and tried snuba for the first time. It is way cooler than snorkeling, but not as fun as scuba (we%26#39;ve only done shallow resort-course style scuba).
Being down in the water is definately a giant plus. The tether to the air isn%26#39;t to intrusive, but it did take a little concentration to not cross paths with others. So it wasn%26#39;t quite as free-flowing as scuba, but it was worlds different than snorkling. I think we stayed around 20%26#39; deep for about a half hour.
Sorry I don%26#39;t have any info on hawaii, i%26#39;m on this forum mainly scoping info out for my trip to Oahu in 8 weeks.
