Malasadas on Maui?

While on Kaui last year my partner and I discovered malasadas. We%26#39;re heading to Maui in Feb. and would love to find them there. Any suggestions? We stay in the West end but are willing to travel.

You might find them at Komoda%26#39;s Bakery in Makawao. We went in June and had guava malasadas. They also have very yummy cream puffs and donought sticks/twists. Get there early because they are a busy busy place.

I believe Komodo might be your best bet. Your choices are pretty limited on Maui and you definitely won%26#39;t find any in the touristy places like Kaanapali, Lahaina, or Wailea. Too bad you%26#39;re not going to Oahu where you can get some from the legendary Leonard%26#39;s Bakery!

I just thought of this place! I was told they have good malasadas.

I%26#39;ve been searching for more info on Komoda Bakery - found a bit but can%26#39;t find what their business hours are - do you know? We%26#39;ll be on Maui 1/31 - 2/12 and I%26#39;m going to get malasadas from Komoda or bust!!!

i had never had one til this past november --- sorry but i dont know what the excitement is all about

it was like hearing all about krispy kremes -- i finally had one and imo its just a donut

I think Komodos opens pretty early, probably around 7 am I think. We got here around 8 am and there was stil plenty of selection.
