Can any recommend any good road-side fruit stands in Oahu?
We are going to be in Hawaii later this week. What fruits/vegetables are in season?
Road-side fruit stands in Oahu
Can%26#39;t recommend any specific fruit stands but I like Chinatown for some exotic/interesting produce. Check out Maunakea Marketplace plus numerous markets and shops on Maunakea St and King St. Muni-parking lot on Maunakea St. next to Cindy%26#39;s Lei Stand just before you get to King St.
We also have a wonderful Farmer%26#39;s Market at Kapiolani Community College parking lot at Diamond Head on the weekends. Sorry not sure of specific days and times.

Kapiolani Community College Saturdays 7:30am - 11am For a list of vendors, click on any of the markets listed that are in blue on the Hawaii Diner link.
There are several fruit (or corn or coconut) stands on the North Shore.
There is one at Dole Pineapple.
There is one close to Kualoa Regional Park (Chinaman%26#39;s Hat). Also the Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet near there.
I also frequesnt the Kailua Farmers Market, Thursday evening starting @ 5:00 PM at the parking lot behind Longs.
This is a great farmers market for eating, so go hungry! A personal favorite of mine is the fried green tomatoes.
