Beck, thank you! But these Kauai people are way too classy for that. They have fancy Kauai parties every week, drink expensive wine, eat cheese (and black fish eggs).

On Thursday we had homemade hummus, fancy olives, sushi, shrimp, honey-roasted mac nuts, ceviche with taro chips, and some especially yummy banana bread. Oh, and of course wine, Mai Tais and Margaritas. At least, that%26#39;s all I drank.

Yup probably true! I have been spending too much money here on Kauai helping the local economy. Here%26#39;s a few for instances:

1. HAD to get the best malasades in the entire world. Even better than Grandma Bettencourt%26#39;s. You get them (if you%26#39;re lucky) from the sweet girl in front of KMart.

2. BarAcuda for their yummy scallops and great tai mais...I mean mai tais... sorry still has an effect!

3. Farmer%26#39;s Market shopping in Hanalei. I just had to buy that pearl bracelet for my daughter as a guilt gift and help the local artisans.

4. Ace Hardware. Owning a condo is a never ending job of fixing it up. Oh my aching back.

5. Costco for Mai Tai mix or should I say booze for pzp.

6. Wake Up Cafe for Over The Falls French Toast. Maybe that%26#39;s why my back aches. Hum!!!!!

So try recashing the check next week.

I don%26#39;t want to be on the Maui list. Those people are mean. I will stay right here, a winner anyway, just by knowing so many wonderful people on the Kauai forum.

Now back to cleaning in the Kauai sunshine....with HAPA on of course.

After a hard day of being bruised up on the Maui forum, I wander over here and these nice Kauai people ';Bengay'; all over my mostly exposed (pasty) body. But they don%26#39;t really understand me, like the Maui forum people do.

Jebett, thanks for the info. I%26#39;ll try again. If not, I%26#39;m headed to Hawaii this summer and I%26#39;ll get payback out of your fridge. (I%26#39;ll don%26#39;t know if I can go; I%26#39;m just dreaming right now.)

Due to my sorted background this has become my new mantra:
