Weather Next Week???

Weather Next Week???
I think people answered your question in the post you wrote a few days ago. You can check a 10 day forecast, but it is usually incorrect.

This link is kind of interesting:

It gives you averages temps and precipitation.
You can find out by looking at the local weather stations on Kaui. Type it into google.
Tonight%26#39;s weather report is for trades to return early next week. Until then SE winds = kona haze (vog).
Living here, and being out many days of the week, exploring the island, we also are interested in the weather.
After reading the various reports, watching TV, we LOOK OUT THE WINDOW.
In lihue , sat a.m, it is georgeous...however the weather report on TV, shows rain showers beginning at about 2 pm...calling 50% chance of rain.
This evening is 70%.
Sunday, scattered or occasional showers, as the front is reported as a fast mover.
So, our decision is to go to the gym, get in a quick 45 minute work out, and then head up to Kuamoo Rd, and take that trail head up toward sleeping giant.
Originally , wanted to hike up in Koke%26#39;e, but figured that if rain was due sometime this afternoon, that we would be better suited to hike the East side trail.
Also, we plan to hike up to the capt. cook pines from the trail head, and if it is not too muddy from our own observations continue up to the top of sleeping giant with the 360 degree view.
Just letting you know, how we handle the outdoor activities here, in relation to what the weather might be.
Usually, barring an island wide storm, there is someplace that we can get out and enjoy.
Our idea is that Kauai Island is too beautiful a place to be Okole sitting and not moving.
Of course that is our life style, and do not expect others to feel the same way.
The enjoyment that we get from sharing the outdoors is a very special reward for our psyche.

Absolutely gorgeous morning in Princeville too. We heard it was going to rain this morning, but not a cloud in the sky. So you just never know from hour to hour.
We are off to walk around Hanalei Bay.
this is a time of unsettled weather through March..
lots of periods of Kona winds, and cold fronts/shear lines coming out of the northern pacific/alaska.
This winter NOAA has forcast a much wetter and stormy season for all the state.
Presently there are 2 very large fronts/ storms piosed to hit Kauai and Oahu over the next few days and again on Wed. If the blow past fast great. If they linger...not good.
Temps state wide are downright cold ..Kauai has a high of 76 yesterday Kona only 80.
Sat and Sunday and possible monday are forcast for heavy rain and possible flooding. How strong are these fronts/storms? Well we just got missed by the storm that just hit Washington and Oregon yesterday dropping up to 20 inches......
The trade winds have died or almost stopped meaning haze is likely on the northern islands. This happens frequently in winter its on and off every without rime or reason.
Denny has the best forcast technique...an hour before
you want to do something look out the window...and take a SWAG at what will be for the next few hours.
Rest assured that the weather will change several times a day and every day....averages in truth mean nothing ofer the space of a week or so.
This morning, early, was gorgeous. Now it%26#39;s raining but the sun appears to be coming out. A big storm is predicted to hit this evening.
Of course, none of this has any bearing on next week. You see how it goes. I think in general, we just don%26#39;t worry about the weather until it happens, except for predicted MAJOR storms.
Here is the easiest way to see the NWS/NOAA forecast:
