I assume that you are talking about condos? How long do you plan to stay? What month?

Unless you need ground floor for physical reasons, stay away from ground floor if possible. Not only will people be walking past your lani but it%26#39;s easier to break into.
And, I think, you get more kid noise ...
Aloha!
Mahana is the ticket...good location, excellent views, pool area was renovated recently, good staff.

Or Hololani, check their site and vrbo for ground floor units. They also have an elevator if you are unable to do stairs. The second bedrooms have a shoji screen (rice paper) where a wall would usually be, so not a ton of privacy.

It would help to know your budget - prices vary widely. Also - are you looking for ';oceanfront'; or ';beachfront?'; There is a big difference. If you want ';beachfront'; look for something in Napili or Ka%26#39;anapali. If ';oceanfront'; is acceptable, you might consider the Kahana area as well. Here is a link were you can check out the properties in West Maui...

When you click on a property you will see an aerial photo, a brief review of the property with rack rate pricing (you should be able to do better) and a link to their web site.

Here are 2 ground floor units in vrbo for Hololani. We met the owners of the second listing about 3 years ago. They were updating the kitchen at the time.
We are going in March
