Mahana '09 Entertainment Book

Can someone confirm if the Mahana is once again in the 2009 Entertainment book?

Mahana '09 Entertainment Book

The Mahana used to be managed by Aston properties which entitled you a 50% discount in the Entertainment book. I believe they are now managed by Resortquest.

You may want to check out rentals on VRBO and save money renting directly by owner versus renting through the porperty management pool. Renting directly by owner not only saves you money but you will know what you are getting in a unit. Don%26#39;t rent by owner without seeing updated photos of the interior.

I%26#39;m considering renting from an owner as well, but ResortQuest seems to be offering specials that make it cheaper than through the owner right now. $218/nt for a one bedroom. Just wondered what the rate was with the Ent. Book discount.

It%26#39;s in Entertainment again. Can%26#39;t tell you a rate without a date though.

Just called them. 1 bedroom low season in May is $193/nt. with Entertainment discount.

218.00 is a great deal. If you don%26#39;t like your unit make sure you go back to the front desk and ask for another one. Chances are they will have others to pick from. I have done it before when they gave me a dumpy unit.

There are three ways to make hotel reservations with Entertainment Book.

1. Call the hotel directly %26amp; tell them you are an Entertainment Book member.

2. Book online through Entertainment.com

Rebates for online booking:

2 nights - $20 rebate

3-4 nights - $40

5,6 or 7 nights - $60

8 or 9 nights - $100

10 nights - $200

3. Use the 800 number in the book 1-800-50-HOTEL

1-800-50-46835

Rebates calling rather than online are 1/2 as much as booking online.

There are a couple of rebate forms in the book. There are more online that you can print.

would you mind if i asked you where you saw the Mahana for 218.00? When i go to the resortquest site i get rates of over 350.00 a night?? Am i looking at the wrong site?

I just realized it was because of the dates i put in - we are there in February which i am assuming is in the high season!!

I think their ';high season'; changes to ';low season'; on April 12th. I inquired with them and was quoted $263 for a 1-bedroom until April 12th and $193 after April 12th with the entertainment discount .

Please forgive me if this questions may seem like a dumb one but is the Entertainment book worth it?

My wife and I will be going to Maui for the first time at the end of Feb (1 week) so I am still doing some planning.

I can always use the discounts that are available (who in their right mind wouldn%26#39;t) so if this is worth it for the time period then I will sign up.

Thanks
