We want to stay on the East Side so we are midway between the North and South Shores. The Waipouilo (sp) beach resort looks nice but unless you get top of the line room you are looking at the parking lot. It is a bit expensive. Does anyone know about Kauai Coast Resort at Beachboy. It is a time share but you can book there. It looks nice and gets good reviews. I wonder if they pressure to to buy. Also I was looking at the Request Islander on the Beach and Lai Nana. We want an ocenfront room where thr rooms are fairly large and not real outdated.
Open to other suggestions as well.
Where to stay in May
Kauai Coast is nicer IMO than Islander but I like Islander. Islander is a timeshare too. Just tell them no thanks, you are in bankruptcy and lost your job and have no money.

Of course, they presure you to buy! But ';jebett';%26#39;s response is perfect. The last time I did one of these presentations (many moons ago), I left my wallet and checkbook at home.
